Public Relations

The definition of journalism is the work of finding, creating, editing and publishing news, or material written and presented for a newspaper, magazine or broadcast news source. An example of journalism is the work of a newspaper. The collecting, writing, editing, and presenting of news or news articles.

The Public Relations Society of America defines public relations as “a strategic communication process that builds mutually beneficial relationships between organizations and their publics.” Essentially, public relations specialists manage an organization's public image and reputation.
